Preamble to Certificate Course in The Philosophy of Vallabh Vedant (S’uddhadvaita) and Vaisnavism

This aspect of Vaisnavism is very similar to that of Buddha who also philosophised in the local language of Pali. Such an attention given to regional languages allowed for philosophy reaching the masses. Shrimad Vallabhacharya, born in the 16th century, propounded an unique philosophy of S’uddhadvaita Brahmavad and advocated “Divine Path of Grace” known as “Pustimarg” for reaching to Salvation through dedicated Krishna Bhakti.
In the pluralistic and multi-religious context of Indian society, the comparative study of Vaisnava saints from various parts of India vis-à-vis philosophy of Shrimad Vallabhacharya will go a long way to foster and sustain inter religious dialogue, culminating into better spiritual orientation of mankind.
