Importance of Learning Vallabh Vedant
(Shuddhadvaita Brahmvad and allied subjects)

Vallabhism, as a philosophico-religious creed of Vaisnavism, is devoted to propagation of Bhakti as a Supreme Means to the realisation of the Highest Good of human existence. It justifies Bhakti not only as a means but an end in itself. Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji introduced an absolutely novel conception of Bhakti, called Pushti, which he emphasised was superior to Maryada-Bhakti or Scriptural Devotion. Due to the paramount importance of Pushti-Bhakti and the emphasis laid on it in Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji's philosophy, his philosophico-religious system is usually called Pushti-marg. Pushti-marg sees no distinction of caste, creed or sex; it is a universal religion in which even the down-trodden or socially degraded, the women and the sudras, are owned by the Almighty as His own. The path of Pushti is one of intense and deep love in which this love for the Lord becomes both the means and the end for His devotee.
Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji's philosophy of self offering (Samarpan) and unconditional surrender (Sharanagati) coupled with devotion and dedication to Almighty Supreme One can bring harmony to human relationships, which in turn can contribute immensely to peaceful societies, nations and indeed the world.
